The 17th International Conference on Penal Abolition - The Department of Crime and Justice Studies at UMass Dartmouth and Young Abolitionists in Boston present ICOPA 17 - ‘Abolition and its Ghosts: Historic Memory and Ongoing Struggles Against Colonialism and Slavery’. Venues sponsored by the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth and Bristol Community College, New Bedford, July 26 – July 29th, 2017. ********************************************************************************************************************************************************* Three of the payment options offered at the bottom of the list below are specifically for booking lodging at UMass Dartmouth for the conference. The rate of $59.81 per night is PER PERSON and includes lodging, breakfast and transportation to and from the conference activities each day. You may select pricing for 1, 2 or 3 nights - Wednesday, 7/26, Thursday, 7/27 and Friday, 7/28, depending on how long you will be staying, and if you are paying for more than one person, you can indicate that accordingly in the quantity box; 1 for yourself, 2 for you and another person, and so on.
